      NEWPORT - Terry Lee Lupton, 61, died Monday, Sept. 14, 2009, at Carteret General Hospital.

      He served in the U.S. Army and received the Purple Heart medal.

      He is survived by one brother, Tommy Lupton; three stepbrothers, Erich, Kurk and Kurt Leider; and sisters Dawn, Candy, Debbie, Lisa and Gayle.

      The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

      Arrangements are by Bryant Funeral Home & Cremations, Alliance.
