      Elmo Guion "Guy" Lupton Jr., 63, died Friday, Aug. 12, 2011.

      He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He was the owner of Guyz Fish House in Benson and spent most of his life in the food industry including many years with Lone Star.

      He is survived by his wife, Linda Sneeden Lupton; daughter, Chastity Lin Lupton of Benson; son, Chad Eugene Lupton of Benson; sister, Carol Adams; and his grandchildren, Caitlin Lupton, of Winterville and Skylar Lupton, of Raleigh.

      A service of remembrance with military honors will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011, at the home, 904 N. Lincoln St. Benson 27504.

      In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Brad Sneeden Memorial Fund, Inc., 302 Glen Abbey Drive, Cary, NC 27513. This funds the Marine Science Academy and college scholarships.
