VIVIAN INEZ VENTERS
WILMINGTON, NC -- Vivian Inez Venters, 87, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Davis Health Care Center, Wilmington, NC.
Mrs. Venters was born in Pamlico County, NC on January 6, 1922 to the late Eugene St. Clair and Luvenia Woodard Lupton. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Silas White Venters and by her brothers, Herbert and Clarence.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca and husband, Ted Kalnen of Wilmington and her granddaughter, Chesley Elizabeth Kalnen. She is also survived by nieces, a nephew and many beloved Lupton cousins.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Liberty Hospice, especially Holly, Denise, Etta and Cindy; and the staff of Davis Health Care Center, especially Kim, Susan, Dawn, Lani and Brian.
The family will receive friends at 2:30pm on Monday, March 9, 2009 at the Mausoleum Chapel at Onslow Memorial Park, Jacksonville, NC with funeral services following at 3:30pm. Memorials may be made to New Hanover Regional Medical Center Foundation, 2259 South 17th Street, Wilmington, NC 28401.
