  [S4] Obituary. Mrs. Gladys F. LUPTON, 82, of Washington, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003 at Beaufort County Hospital in Washington. A graveside service will be held at 2 today at Pamlico Memorial Gardens in Washington with the Rev. Roger Lee officiating. Mrs. Lupton was born Oct. 1, 1920 in Hyde County. She was the daughter of the late Daniel T. Fisher and the late Elizabeth Ball Fisher. On Nov. 6, 1938 she married Philip Dalton Lupton, who preceded her in death in 1979. She lived in Beaufort County for the past 60 years. Survivors include two sons, Daniel E. Lupton of Washington and Ronald T. Lupton of Chocowinity; two daughters, Nancy L. Brame of Chocowinity and Elaine L. Harris of Hickory; a brother, Lloyd Fisher of Elizabeth City; and two sisters, Audrey Simmons of Fairfield and Mary McKinney of Roanoke Rapids. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Wilbur Fisher and Lattie Fisher. Arrangements are by Paul Funeral Home of Washington. (Washington Daily News - Monday, September 29, 2003)
